One of my favorite restaurants down the shore is Avenue Le Club. Not only is the food great and the atmosphere beautiful, their staff is attentive and friendly. I have been coming to Avenue for years during the summer for brunch, so I was excited to have dinner there. I have been working with Diaz Schloss Communications through Joonbug.com for about a year now, and they always send me to great restaurants in New Jersey. I especially enjoy their press dinners because I get to connect with other food writers who share the same interests. The night was full of us food critics listening to Thierry's stories from France while salivating over the plates by Chef John Johnson and Chef Stuart Marx. Out of all the food I devoured, the Tartare of Organic Salmon was my favorite. The bites of creamy avocado and fresh salmon with the wasabi cracker were superb.
